Passion for essential oils
The Aroma Zone project began in 1999 during a family dinner. The idea was simple: to share our knowledge and passion for essential oils, these wonderful essences of the life force of plants.
This project stems from vivid memories of the wild and beautiful nature of Margeride, the barren and untamed land of our childhood. In these untouched and magnificent landscapes, our love of the land and our admiration for the power of plants were born.
Aroma-Zone, an informative website about aromatherapy, was launched online at the end of 1999. Completely “homemade,” we built it as a family – my father, my sister Valérie and I, all three engineers by profession.
Producers from Madagascar, Mexico, Spain, India and other countries quickly contacted us to offer their essential oils. Thus, Aroma-Zone became one of the first online stores for essential oils in May 2000. Since then, Valérie and I have dedicated ourselves to constantly expanding the site's offerings and building strong relationships with passionate producers worldwide.
In the land of scents
In 2005, we established our headquarters in the heart of Provence, the land of aromatic herbs, at the foot of Mont Ventoux. What place could be more inspiring than these sunny fields of lavender, thyme, rosemary and vineyards? Also in 2005, the idea was born to offer our customers everything they need for their own homemade cosmetics – healthy, effective and 100% natural! Creams, shower gels, hair products, make-up… everything became possible! At first, we were considered outsiders in the traditional cosmetics industry, but it doesn’t matter, our customers trust us and support us!
Since then, the men and women who made the Aroma Zone adventure possible have shared this passion for nature and its treasures. They work every day to offer the best natural extracts, the best homemade cosmetic recipes and accessible advice to everyone. We hope that these will bring small positive changes in the way you take care of yourself and your loved ones!
