The Conditioner Emulsifier is a co-emulsifier and an excellent conditioning agent for hair in an acidic environment (pH 4.5-5.5). Under these conditions, its affinity for hair keratin is increased, allowing it to detangle hair while reducing static electricity during brushing. It can therefore be incorporated into the oil phase with other emulsifiers (BTMS, Emulsifying Wax No. 2) to create "cream" shampoos, "cream" conditioners, or detangling and smoothing hair masks. The Conditioner Emulsifier can also be dispersed in hot, acidic water. By adding this mixture to cleansing surfactants compatible with the Conditioner Emulsifier, classic detangling shampoos or "satin" effect shower gels can be obtained without the need for an additional oil phase.
